It is a variant of the waterfall model that emphasizes the verification and validation of the product. It is a sequential path of execution of the processes, like waterfall. Each phase must complete when go for next. Testing is more emphasized in this model. Testing of the product is planned in parallel with a corresponding phase of development. Before going to any coding, testing procedures should be developed, during each of the phase preceding implementation. Requirements begin the life cycle model. For large projects RAD requires sufficient resources to create the RAD teams. Incremental Model: It is an initiative approach to Waterfall model. Multiple development cycles takes place for making multiple Waterfall cycle. These cycles can divide into multiple smaller and easily managed iterations. These iterations can pass through the life-cycle phases such as analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. A partial implementation of system software is produced during the first iteration and subsequent iterations can be produced on the initial software. If there is a need to get basic functionality early it is most suggest full. Advantages: More flexible, less cost to change requirements and scope. So, risk of changing requirements is reduced Each iteration is an easily managed milestone. Produces the partial working software quickly and early during lifecycle. During a small iteration it is easy to use and easy to debug. Disadvantages: Requires early definition of a complete and fully functional system. Well defined module interfaces are required. Each phase of iteration should be rigid-do not overlap. Spiral Model: Spiral model is similar to the incremental model, with more emphasis placed on risk analysis. It has four phases: planning, risk analysis, engineering and evaluation. A software project passes through these four phases in iterations (called spirals). A baseline spiral, starting on the planning phase requirements are gathered and risk is assessed. And each sub-sequent spirals build on the baseline spiral. Requirements are gathered in the planning phase In the risk analysis , a process is undertaken to identify the risks and as well as appropriate solutions. After completion of risk analysis phase one prototype will be produced. Software is produced in the engineering phase The evaluation phase allows the customer to evaluate the output of the project before going to the next spiral. In the spiral model, the angular component represents the progress and radius of the spiral represents cost. Advantages: Good for medium to high-risk projects. High amount of risk analysis. If significant changes are expected it will be useful. Disadvantages: Costly to use. Risk assessment expertise is required. Spiral may continue indefinitely. Doesnt suitable for small projects. Project success rate is highly dependent on risk analysis phase. Iterative Model: Iterative Model addresses many problems associated with waterfall model. In this model the analysis is done in the same way as it is in the waterfall model. There is no need to start the model with full fledged specifications of requirements. Development is beginning with the specifications of the part of the software which can then be reviewed in order to identify further requirements. It produces, every time a new version of the software for each cycle of the model. In requirement phase , gather all the requirements for the software and analyzed it. Iteration should eventually produce complete and final specification of requirements. In design phase , all requirements are designed. The designing may be a new one or extension for the old one. In the Implementation and Test phase, the software is coded, integrated and tested. In Review phase, the software is evaluated, the current requirements are reviewed again and additions to requirements are proposed. At each cycle of the model a decision has to be made for whether the software produced by the software will be discarded or keep it for the next cycle as a starting point. Advantages: Faster coding, testing and design patterns. Facilitates to support changes in the life cycle. Disadvantages: More time to spend for analysis and design. Delay in one phase effects on entire software. Lot of steps to fallow in this model. Which Process Model is best? This is not easy question to answer as there are many factors that influence it. Having discussed all the process models, now we have some fair idea about many process models. With this knowledge, we can easily choose the best model. We can use waterfall model when all requirements are known before starting developing project. However, it is not suitable for applications where the requirements not known. Prototype, Iterative and Increment Models are best used when there is some uncertainty about requirements. They can be used when the requirements are not known. They are exploratory models. For the proposed project â€Å"Waterfall† model can be used as all the requirements are known prior to developing the system. How the methodology is going to apply to our project? Requirements Gathering: This is the most important phase to build a system. Failure of gathering right requirements may leads to collapse the entire system. Example , for pharmacy billing When the system is started, it should authenticate user before providing its functionalities The output bill should appear as containing the shop name, address, phone number and drug license no. It contains which system i.e. (system 1, system 2,etc), billing staff id, name, bill no(transaction number), time, date, receipt type (original, duplicate, refund, void item, void transaction, etc), quantity, product name price per single and total price quantity, and the end grand total for all products , if vat is applicable then vat summary. Once the functionalities of Pharmacy system are classified then we grouped the related functionalities as a module, in this totally we got 3 modules, like Stock Maintenance Ordering Billing. After this we designed software architecture to develop this system, because based on schedule, cost, and quality the software architecture returns highest returns on investments. So that in this project we are going to use 2 tier architecture, to make the system initially as stand-alone system. In our project we are going to Java Swings API to develop GUI based user interfacing to interact with the system. Back end database may be either Oracle/MySQL we can use to store huge amount of logical related information. In the back end database we are going to maintain billing information, Order Details and customer information, Stock details information and payment details (cash/ cheque..etc). To interact with the back end data base system, from GUI interface we need JDBC API to perform database relevant query operations towards the underlying database. In this software design we considered many aspects according to our project. Compatibility of backend and platforms, designing software etc, Extensibility we ensure the system design even to add new enhancements in future like to make as web based system. And we designed carefully each functionality as Modular functionality, and are designing Modular components are reusable components because the stock functionality may reuse in order details. We design the system according to Security concerns also. Our system should authenticate first before providing its functionalities. We are considering Admin login and end user logins for this system. Implementation: It is nothing but simply a plan to implement the system design. In the Software, the programming languages are the number of implementation in software development. Our project I am going to implement using JAVA swings, JDBC API. Swing API is more reliable and consistent GUI for all platforms i.e. there is no in appearance even executes on many more platforms, where as AWT components with specific look feel i.e. changes their appearance for one platform to another platform. System testing means we will test the complete integrated system to ensure all the modules whether they reached their target functionality or not, in this we will get co-ordination among whole modules of the system as per the specification. So we intend to start up a small enterprise where we shall be manufacturing LED lights that are environmental friendly and electronics that emit less CFC, provide electronic repairing services to the customers through eco-friendly products and these will be produced by us in a micro level. Specific Need: We intend to provide the services, and since the manufacturing costs will be very less, there will be taxes imposed on the products. These taxes in turn will be used to help the hungry people in getting g their meals and 1% of every sale will be stored to provide shelter to the homeless. Since we are well versed with the electrical gadgets, we shall have the necessary expertise to handle all the issues that arise with the customers and the same shall be easily sorted by us. No special expertise will be required in this regard, and we can also ensure that the products will be as per the expectations of the customers. Project Description There are various steps that we need to follow and rely upon prior to starting up and establishing our plan. The problem of hunger requires people from all the fields to come together and join hands with each other. Career fields including agriculturists, economists, journalists, nutritionists and community builders need to come together and join hands. The process requires improving the roads, setting up cleaner water systems and getting and convincing the politicians to make smart and informed policies and laws that will help in producing healthy food that shall be accessible to all the people. The more ideas we get in this regard, the more swiftly and smoothly can the problem be solved. The initial problem that we might encounter in this respect is that why would people come to buy our products when there are competitive brands available in the market. This issue can be resolved by us in a very interesting way. We being students of electrical engineering can convince the people of the various energy saving options and the equipment they can use in their everyday life to make their work easier. This way we will be able to win their trust, and gradually our products will flourish in the market. Another problem we might face is regarding the allocation of resources, and this can be a hindrance towards our goal. We intend to get loans to start up our business from few nonbanking financial sectors who shall give us loans at zero or minimal interest. We need to ensure that the loan is not paid off against the profits earned by our setup. Rather it should be met out of our own pockets in simple and easy installments. Also, the government and the policies may be a challenge in this aspect. Since we are going to be a for profit organization, the government may oppose our policies. Hence, the taxes and revenue has to be paid off by us in proper time intervals. Due permissions have to be obtained at the earliest, and it needs to be ensured that we continue to have the trust of the ruling houses. There are certain key issues that we should always keep in mind to succeed in this respect. The trivial matters like a proper driving license, transparency, business musts, etc. should be kept clean by us all the time. Money should be used very wisely and before investing in large investments, we should thoroughly try to check the entire positive and the negative aspects. At times, we need to announce for surprise sales to lure the customers and ensure that customers get the benefit of the same. Moreover, we also need to keep a check on the quality and standard of our products. A few days of success and subsequent poor products are likely to be disadvantageous for the interest of our company. We should always remain accessible to our customers as and when they need us and should try to build a rock-solid reputation. Since our ultimate goal is to eradicate hunger, we should remain focused towards that end. At least two of us should always try to keep a record of how far have we been successful in achieving our aim. Notification and advertising The target audience will be notified initially on a door-to-door basis in the local community. Gradually, we intend to circulate leaflets and pamphlets through the newspapers. Once we reach 100 customers, we shall be promoting our products through the social networking sites and newspaper advertisements. We shall also put up stalls in trade fairs for commercial and bulk orders. Certain catchy slogans will be used while we put up posters and advertise for our brand to promote it in the larger scale. The target audience will be the ones who are in the youth and the social workers initially. People will be made aware of the problem of hunger in the society, and they will be encouraged to buy our products more so that we can help those who are starving. The probable outcome Our mission is likely to be successful in a span of five to seven years. Statistical data shows that to eradicate the entire problem of hunger, a comprehensive strategic period of 15 years is necessary. Programmes like Food Pantries, Children's Hunger Alliance, etc. have success within four years. If strategically planned, we can also win the hearts of the people with their support and our enthusiasm. Conclusion Alleviating hunger is one of the core missions of our career path. There are various families who have lost their financial stability and at the same time are forced to face the problem of hunger. Students are doing good work by writing projects and conducting research in this field, but the same has not been able to get the desired results intended. As such, our policy will be both eco-friendly and will have a greater focus towards achieving our aim and alleviating poverty. Since we all know that if poverty is alleviated, the nation will prosper on the whole and hence, it should be a positive feedback for all the investors as well. Samuel De Champlain Essays - Acadia, Canada, Samuel De Champlain

Samuel de Champlain (1567 - 1635 ) Samuel de Champlain was born in the town of Bouage , France in the year of 1567. His father was a sea captain and as a boy he learned seamanship aswell as navigation. For a while he was in the army of King Henry IV then in 1599 he became the captain of a ship . For over two years he explored in the West Indies aswell as Mexico and visited all the major ports. When he later wrote about his adventures on this trip he suggested the idea of making a canal across Central America to shorten the trip the Southern Pacific Ocean. Many years later other people had the same idea. Samuel de Champlain made his first voyage to Canadian 1603 and explored the St. Lawrence River as far as where Montreal is located as of today. He was sent by a man named mar de Clermont who had been given During his travels Samuel De Champlain made friends with the indians and when he returned to France he wrote a book describing his experiences with the so called ? Savages.? Aymar de Clermont died during this voyage so when Champlain made his second voyage to New France in 1604 he worked under the enfluence of Pierre du Guest, Sieur De monts to whom the rights to fur trade had been transferred. Champlain and Sieur de Monts explored the coast as far south as Cape Cod looking for a good place to build a settlement and start mapping the area. They later settled on an island near the mouth of St. Croix River and then later at what is now Annapolis, Nova Scotia. Later In the year of 1608 Champlain founded a settlement at Quebec and spent most of his time with the Algonquin and Huron indians exploring the area.Also in the year of 1609 Champlain sighted the lake that bears his nam - Champlain - Lake. In The year of 1610 Samuel de Champlain Married Helene Boulle who was only the age of 12. She stayed in france for ten after the marriage before moving to Canada. In 1611 Champlain established a trading post at Mont Royal and later was appointed lieutenant-general and governor in New France. In 1629 Quebec was captured by the English and then he was taken to England as a prisoner . When When Canada was Returned to France in 1633 Champlain returned to his original post and remained in Quebec until his death in the year of 1635 in December.
